7 civilians die in mine explosion in Faryab

Explosion of a mine planted by armed opponents of government in Almar district of Faryab took lives of 7 civilians and injured another one.

Second Lieutenant Abdul Karim Yorish, Public Affairs Officer of Faryab said that a corolla car, which was going from center of Almar district to Khwaja Gawhar area, hit a planted mine by armed opponents of government as a result of which 8 passengers of the car were killed and wounded.

It is while according to Mr. Yorish as a consequence of artillery impacts last night, 3 armed Taliban were killed in Omaka Marashkar aree of Pashtun Kot district and another one was wounded.
