First local army company dispatched to Burkah

Baghlan Governor says the first company of local army, after taking training, has been dispatched to Burkah district to provide security. 

Ahmad Farid Basim, Baghlan Governor maintains that so far companies of local army have been approved for Burkah, Talah wa Barfak, Doshi, and Pul-e Khumri districts. 

Mr. Basim considered establishment of local army an important step in providing security and added that like national army, troops in local army are equipped with advanced weapons who are responsible of securing their regions. 

It happens at a time that first deputy of Chief of General Staff from the Ministry of Defense along Resolute Support commander in north, recently had a trip to Baghlan to assess the security situation in the province where they visited trained personnel of local army.
