Registration process of parliament, district councils’ candidates begins in Baghlan

Registration process of parliament and district councils’ candidates began in Baghlan province today.

Abdul Malik Hanifi, Head of Independent Election Commission’s provincial office in Baghlan said to Bayanshamal that during the first day of this process 5 candidates came to this office to register themselves and the process is progressing normally.

Mr. Hanifi added that people who want to register themselves for parliament should initially have Afghanistan’s identity card, they shouldn’t be accused for any crimes and at least be school graduated.

He says people who want to register themselves as candidates for district councils must have 100 to 300 original ID cards with sticker and those who want to register themselves as candidates for parliament must have 1,000 ID cards with sticker with themselves.

It is worth mentioning that registration process of candidates for parliament and district councils will continue until 21 Jowza in the ongoing year.
