24 girls graduate from Nursing School of Agha Khan Health Services

24 young girls graduated from 4th round of studies at Nursing School of Agha Khan Health Services in Badakhshan.

These girls were admitted in the program from different districts of the province and after two years of studies in nursing section, they have now graduated and they will be sent to their respective areas to provide health services to local residents.

Roya Masoom, Head of Nursing School in Agha Khan Health Services in Badakhshan said to Bayanshamal that the girls were chosen from the areas where health services were desperately needed and from now on they will be recruited as nurses in those areas.

Ms. Roya said that Nursing School of Agha Khan Health Services has been active since 2012 and so far 102 nurses have graduated from it.

She added that training of these nurses has been efficient in providing health services to people and from 104 graduates 72 of them are practically providing health services to people in health centers.
